Just around the corner...

Hello to everyone! We are just a few weeks away from the birth of our daughter! I can't believe it is almost time! I had an appointment yesterday and I am dilated 2 cm's and have been having quite a few contractions since the appointment. I am scheduled to be induced on Friday, March 13!!! Yes, I know, some would be hesitant to do that, but I am just not superstitious enough to worry about it! Now, if we are heading into the hospital that morning and our vehicle breaks down or something, we'll try again another day! ;-)

So, assuming Kenley doesn't come before then, her birthday will be 5 days before mine and Noah's is 4 days after mine. I'm right in the middle. I'm pretty certain that mine just a thing of the past though. In the future, it will be all about the kids' birthday's, not mine!! Which is fine with me!!! Maybe I can just go ahead and skip my own birthday's all together (including the increase in age) from now on too!

My next appointment will be on Thursday next week, so I'll be sure to update everyone then!

Potty training 101!!!

The time has FINALLY come! Noah has decided to use the potty instead of his diapers. We have been telling him for a couple months now that he needed to start going on the potty so we could save the diapers for the baby and he never cared...until last week! During our "snowed in" day, Noah told me he didn't want to wear diapers and that he needed to save them for sissy. So...he wore big boy underwear all day and went on the potty all day...even poopie!!! YEAH NOAH! Then at daycare the next two days, he wore pull ups and didn't have a single accident all day. Over the weekend, he only had a couple accidents, but he did great! We're so proud and excited! Knock on wood... And just in time for the baby. Now I may only have to buy one set of diapers! I've said all along that one day, he'll flip a switch and be trained. He has been like that with everything so far. Potty training is the same way!
Sunday was a perfect day to build a snowman! So, mimi and Noah built his first snowman! He seemed to really enjoy it. Once the ball got too big for him, he said he couldn't push it anymore. But, he played in the snow for a while either way.

"I want to build a snowman this tall!"
Okay...I'm ready to destroy it!
But first, let me throw a snowball at mommy!
