Our brother-in-law, Robert Martini
Our brother-in-law, Robert Martini, was diagnosed with ALS (aka Lou Gherig's Disease) in January 2008. This is a terrible disease that quickly affected Robert and took his life on March 18, 2009. As morbid as it sounds ring around the rosie is about the black pleague. The "rosies" are the sick people who have a fever and "posies" are flowers they believed helped prevent catching it.
